For Workforce Offices

We Work With Workforce Boards. Directly.

CDL Trucking Academy is WIOA-eligible and operated by an FMCSA Training Provider Registry (TPR) registered provider. We've invoiced workforce boards before. We can do it again - for your participants, quickly and without the bureaucratic runaround.

Process

How It Works

Four steps from referral to certification. No participant out-of-pocket. No red tape.

01

Participant Is Referred

A workforce board identifies a client who needs CDL Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) as part of their employment plan.

02

Workforce Office Contacts Us

A case manager or WDB coordinator reaches out to us directly. We'll confirm eligibility, outline the course, and handle paperwork on our end.

03

We Invoice the Board Directly

We issue an invoice or accept a purchase order from the board. No participant payment required. No middlemen.

04

Participant Trains & Gets Certified

Your client completes the 100% online ELDT theory course, passes the assessment, and their record is submitted directly to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry.

Why CDL Trucking Academy

Built for This Exact Use Case

FMCSA-Registered

We operate through an FMCSA Training Provider Registry (TPR) registered provider. This is the federal requirement Texas DPS enforces - if your provider isn't on the TPR, the training doesn't count. Ours does.

A Fraction of In-Person Cost

Traditional CDL schools charge $5,000–$6,000+ for the theory portion alone. Our ELDT course is $1,500 - making it an efficient use of WIOA or ARPA dollars while achieving the same federal certification outcome.

Direct Invoicing & POs Accepted

We understand how workforce funding works. We can issue formal invoices, work with purchase orders, and provide all documentation needed for compliance reporting.

Track Record

We've Done This Before.

We've worked with workforce boards in Texas including El Paso WDB and others using WIOA and ARPA funding to cover ELDT training for their participants. We understand the documentation requirements, the timeline pressures, and the compliance obligations. This isn't our first rodeo.
